Numbering heads are faster and more convenient to handle than type holders. They also allow the marking of multi-digit combination of numbers in a single operation and at the same time, the orientation of the single digits is accurate.
By rotating the wheels, which are secured in place by means of a lockingpin, the desired number can be set quickly and without any problem. Every single wheel has a 11-part engraving and is equipped with the digits 0–9 and a blank space.
